On Thanksgiving morning, a foster family of agoraphobic shut-ins sends their most courageous teen to hunt for a Thanksgiving turkey. Theo Matza’s “Tate’s Parade” delivers on autumnal sentiments in a city where eccentric characters hide behind every corner. It’s the morning of Turkey Day, and the floats of Macy's Parade take full flight. From the dim interior of a bohemian apartment, Tate woefully watches an unhinged anchorman report the events. The delirious chatter of her foster family grows increasingly unbearable. Tate decides to take it into her own hands and search for what everyone really needs — a Thanksgiving turkey.
